Summer 2026 Purple Egyptian Pilsner. - This beer is brewed with Purple Egyptian, an ancient native landrace barley originating near the headwaters of the Nile River and distinguished by its characteristic purple husk. We sourced a beautiful organically grown crop from the Palouse Heritage family farm in Washington State. Brewed as a Pilsner-style lager, Purple Egyptian opens with abundant cereal grain aromatics, layered with notes of fragrant dried apricot, delicate fresh clover honey, and the lift of sweet mint.
Spring 2026 Lyon Pilsner - This beer is brewed with Lyon barley, a variety developed by renowned artisan grain breeder Kevin Murphy of the WSU Bread Lab and named in honor of his mentor and colleague, Steven R. Lyon. We sourced a beautiful crop from Bill Myers’ family farm overlooking the Palouse River in Washington State. Brewed as a Pilsner-style lager, Lyon presents a cheerful straw-yellow hue with luminous white foam. Aromas of wildflowers, Meyer lemon, and sweet alfalfa are fragrant and expressive. An inviting, open palate leads into a refreshing, long finish marked by flinty minerality.
